Inspire business grants have helped over 85
companies across the district.
Below you'll find a selection of businesses that
highlight the wide range of companies that have benefited from
the grant scheme and the range of ways the money has been
put to good use:

Inspire assisted in the funding of Hodgsons new tool hire depot
in Burscough Industrial Estate, and for improvements to site
security.

Josephs the Jewellers were awarded grants to alter their shop
premises in Burscough Street, Ormskirk and for improved
security.

An award was made to Kammac Plc in Skelmersdale to help
refurbish part of their premises to facilitate the provision of a
new production line.

The entrance area and shop at Martin Mere were improved with
financial assistance from the Inspire project.

Metaldeck in Skelmersdale benefited from a grant to refurbish
the interior and exterior of their premises.

Parkfresh, an expanding fresh produce distribution business in
Skelmersdale, has received awards to extend the premises and
upgrade security.
The establishment of an art gallery
and bed and breakfast facilities in a former barn at The Farm,
Martins Lane, Burscough, was part funded by Inspire.

Inspire grant funding helped the
successful transfer of this beauty salon to new premises in
Digmoor, Skelmersdale.

Mill House Art Gallery in Parbold used Inspire funding to
refurbish the first floor of the premises and to purchase vital
machinery.
