If you are either a Motor Salvage Operator or a Scrap Metal Dealer then you must register with us. Failure to do so is a criminal offence and subject to a fine.

There is a fee to register for three years as a Motor Salvage Operator. This fee is used to finance the administration of the registration procedure and is currently £70.35 plus £15.00 Police fee.

There is no fee to register as a Scrap Metal Dealer.
