Publication scheme
The publication scheme gives you access to some information
without having to make specific requests.
- It describes the types of information that we regularly
publish, or are about to publish.
- It also outlines how and where this information is available -
for example if it is on our website or in printed materials like a
leaflet.
Our publication scheme is available here online, or:
- By phoning 01695 585031
- By writing to the Council offices at 52 Derby Street, Ormskirk
L39 2DF
- By visiting any council office or library in West
Lancashire
You can search the contents of the council's publication scheme
either by browsing the classes of information set out within the
scheme, or, if the information is available online, there will be a
corresponding link to the relevant web pages. If the information is
not available online, details of how it may be supplied will be
given.
All the information we have available has been sorted into the
classes below.
Each entry lists:
- what the information is
- what is included
- what it is about
- where it can be found
- any specific exemptions (for example, agenda papers on exempt
or confidential items as defined by legislation that might fall
within the broad definition will not be routinely published)
- details about the organisation of the authority, who is
responsible for which function and how to contact them
