Success of Farmers' Market continues for
2008
Ormskirk's successful Farmers' Market is returning for the New Year
and will be back in the town centre this weekend.
On Friday 11 January over 20 stalls will be lining Aughton Street
offering a variety of wares.
With everything from fresh eggs and homemade bread to guinea fowl
and ostrich meat, the market promises to be an excellent chance to
pick up some wholesome treats to help get your New Year off to a
healthy start. <
Cllr David Westley, Portfolio Holder for Street Scene, said:
"The first appearances of the market have proved to be very popular
and I hope that it will soon become a regular feature in the town
centre helping to attract even more visitors and business to the
district.
"The market operates from 9.30am 2.30pm and I would encourage
everyone to put the date in their diaries now and make sure they
don't miss out on this unique shopping experience."
