Grab a bargain at Chairman's Charity Flea
Market
Treasure hunters and bargain shoppers should head along to a
special event in aid of West Lancashire District Council's
Chairman's charities.
On Sunday 28th January Parbold Village Hall, The Green, will be
hosting their regular popular 'Flea Market' but this time proceeds
from the door entry will go to the chairman's charities.
Chairman Councillor May Blake will have her own charity stall and
will also be helping to serve up breakfasts and other delights
too.
Whilst there, visitors will also be able to browse around an array
of stalls to pick up everything from jewellery and wooden crafts to
garden features, toys, home grown produce and other wonderful
items.
The event opens at 8.30am until about 3.30pm and entrance is 30p
for adults and children go in free. The proceeds will go towards
the Chairman's chosen charities, which are the British Heart
Foundation, Air Ambulance and West Lancs Jospice.
May said: "I'm a big fan of flea markets because you can always
pick up lots of unusual trinkets and other interesting items, so
I'm delighted to be playing a part at Parbold's popular
event."
"It promises to be a great day out and a nice way to raise money
for my charities as they are all worthy causes which need support,
so make sure you come along."
