Be crafty and book your place now!
Artists and craftmakers have a fantastic chance to sell their goods
at this year's popular Christmas Fine Art Contemporary Craft
Event.
For the seventh year running, Chapel Gallery is holding this
popular Christmas event. This year it will be on 30th November,
starting 12noon until 8pm, and they are looking to select talented
individuals to sell their wares.
They are keen to attract craftmakers who specialise in a variety of
artworks including jewellery, ceramics, textiles, prints and
paintings.
The advantage of taking part is because it is an ideal way to
showcase your talents and to present unusual gift ideas for
Christmas to shoppers who come along to the event.
Cllr Rob Bailey, Portfolio Holder for Leisure, said: "This events
grows more and more popular each year because it's a good
opportunity for artists and craftmakers to sell their works in a
professional environment. However, there are only a small number of
spaces left so I'd urge people not to delay in applying for a place
to avoid disappointment."
There are still some places left for those who would like to apply.
But due to increasing demand, sellers are being encouraged to apply
as soon as possible to stand the best chance of selection for a
stall.
If you are interested in applying for a stall at this event, the
cost will be £15.00. Contact the Chapel Gallery, St Helens Road,
Ormskirk on 01695 571328 for more details.
Chapel Gallery, St Helens Road, is open from 10am to 4.30pm,
Tuesday to Saturday, as is the contemporary craft shop and café.
Entrance is free. For other events see the Chapel Gallery
section.
