We've got it all - so read all about it!
Businesses can stay one step ahead of the competition by keeping up
with all the latest regeneration news in a brand new
publication.
West Lancashire's newest magazine, We've Got It All, has just been
delivered to numerous companies across the district to update them
on what is happening within the local economy.
Produced by the Council's Economic Regeneration Team, it gives
information on grant schemes, business support, events, partnership
working and information on the latest regeneration projects.
It gives updates on the three biggest initiatives - Skelmersdale
Vision, Burscough town centre redevelopment and the Market Towns
Initiative for Ormskirk and Burscough.
There's a big spread on West Lancashire's flagship Investment
Centre which focuses on its state-of-the-art facilities for
businesses, including conference facilities and a dedicated
business café with free Internet access.
It gives advice on how the Enterprising West Lancashire project can
offer one-to-one support for local businesses in Skelmersdale;
information on the Business Watch Scheme and how to join; and
details of the Rural Economy Study.
It also details the grants still available for businesses to
improve their premises and security - with case studies
highlighting successful stories.
The newsletter also lists new and existing commercial property
available to rent or buy in West Lancashire.
Cllr Ian Grant, Portfolio Holder for Regeneration and Planning,
said: "This newsletter reflects our commitment to boosting the
local economy and providing good quality jobs for local people. Our
local businesses play an important role in keeping the district a
place where people want to live, work and visit and we want to
ensure that they have all the latest information at their
fingertips to help them prosper and develop.
"I'd urge organisations to read this lively publication and any
business who has not received the newsletter can contact us for a
copy."
Businesses who want a copy of the newsletter or more information on
how the Council can help you should visit the Business
Support section, contact (01695) 577177 or email info.edu@westlancsdc.gov.uk.
