Assembly' or want to re-live the best moments, visit the Council

now live on the Council's website for residents to enjoy.
Its easy format means that you can either watch it in full or go
straight to the specific clip you are interested in because it is
split into sections.
Not forgetting those who haven't got access to a computer if you
can't view it online the Council has also produced a free DVD of
the meeting.
Cllr Geoff M. Roberts, Leader of the Council, said: "This year's
event was a great success and once again we thought it would be
good to capture it all on video so that our residents can watch it
in the comfort of their own home if they missed the event. It's
also a nice keepsake for anybody who was involved in things like
the presentations because they can re-live the moments once again.
So make sure you visit our website or order the DVD to see what
happened on the night."
More than 150 residents, young people, councillors and other
representatives attended the event at the flagship Investment
Centre in Skelmersdale on 31st January to debate the two topics on
the agenda: New Health Bodies for West Lancashire, with particular
reference to Ormskirk Hospital and also to drugs and alcohol
services; and Every Child Matters with a presentation from teachers
and pupils from Lathom High School.
Some of the highlights on the night included the lively debates led
by compere Dave Guest, BBC North West's Chief Reporter; the
presentation of the Chairman's Award; and certificate presentations
to members of the West Lancashire Wolves Multi Sports Club, who are
a group of people with disabilities who have recently completed a
trampolining course
