Kite Festival takes off!
Don't miss all the thrills and spills of the Kite and Outdoor
Sports Festival on 2 and 3 June 2007.
Be amazed as the sky comes alive with colourful kites of all
different shapes and sizes, as professional flyers, the Northern
Kite Group, wow spectators with their skills.
Watch dare devil stunts on the ground as Team Extreme will once
again thrill the crowds with their bold BMX, inline skating and
skateboarding tricks.
Have a go on the climbing wall or burn some energy bouncing around
on the fun inflatable. Little ones can also bring along their
favourite teddy and take part in the popular teddy bear parachute
drop.
Alternatively, if all that sounds a bit too hectic, then why not
take a leisurely stroll around the many interesting trade
stalls.
Cllr Rob Bailey, Portfolio Holder for Leisure, said: "The Kite and
Outdoor Sports Festival makes a great day out for all the family. I
would encourage everyone to visit the festival and make sure you
don't miss out on all the fun!"
The event is held at Beacon Country Park, Up Holland, operating
between 11am and 5pm on both days, and is free.
