Have a 'continental' Christmas
The
Continental Market is back for Christmas - so don't miss the chance
to pick up some unusual Yuletide treats.
On Friday 7 and Sunday 9 December professional traders from across
the continent will be bringing stalls laden with goods to the
streets of Ormskirk town centre.
With everything from Belgium chocolates, Turkish delight and
Brittany biscuits to French cheese, Italian deli items and fine
festive wines, you're sure to find something to tickle your taste
buds.
Along with the many delicious food items, there will also be a wide
range of other gift ideas to choose from including leather goods,
Marseille soaps, beautiful Peruvian clothes, jewellery and
children's toys.
Cllr David Westley, Portfolio Holder for Street Scene, said: "This
is a perfect chance to pick up some unusual stocking fillers for
Christmas. The Continental Market has proved to be a very popular
attraction in the town centre, especially during the festive
season, and I hope that people will make the most of this
opportunity to experience a taste of the continent this
Christmas."
