The Council's number one newspaper has been delivered to homes
across the district and features up to the minute events,
initiatives and projects that are happening across West Lancashire
to benefit residents.
This particular edition includes a special feedback form so that
people can tell us what they think of our flagship publication and
whether there are ways we can improve it. An electronic version of
the survey about The Voice is also available to complete online in
teh Your Views
section.
Autumn's issue particularly focuses on what the Council has been
doing to improve the quality of life for communities and focuses on
the Council's six priorities - crime, jobs, leisure, environment
and street scene, housing, and cost effective services.
It highlights key projects such as Skelmersdale Vision, extra money
to tackle alcohol issues, new youth clubs and various awards.
Cllr Geoff M. Roberts, Leader of the Council, said: "We feel very
strongly about issues that matter to local people and this issue of
The Voice tells residents what we are doing to keep the area of
West Lancashire a thriving place to live, work and visit. Make sure
you read your copy to see how we are tackling your concerns head
on."
Anyone who has not received a copy can download it from the website
in the Publications
section or by contacting the Public Relations Unit on 01695 585011.
Copies will also be available in Council buildings including the
Derby Street reception in Ormskirk and the Customer Service Point
at the Concourse, Skelmersdale, as well as other public locations
such as libraries and information centres.
