I do like to be beside the seaside...
Join
the District Council's Chairman for an evening of seaside
humour.
On Thursday 18 October the Chairman will be hosting his 'Civic at
Home' event for local mayors and mayoresses, and you're invited
too.
At just £15 a ticket, the seaside themed evening promises to be a
night full of fun and laugher. With a theatrical supper and lively
entertainment supplied by Ormskirk's Derby Players - who will be
performing their 'End of the Pier ' show.
Chairman of the Council, Cllr William Cropper, said: "Local drama
group The Derby Players have kindly offered to help me host my
'Civic at Home' event and to put all the proceeds from the night
towards my chosen charities - the scouts and guides."
"I'd like to thank the group for their generosity and also to
encourage anyone who enjoys a night at the theatre to buy a ticket
and come along to join in the fun."
