Last call for art phonebook!
Calling all art
groups. It's your last chance to put your name down to be listed in
a brand new A-Z directory of art organisations in West
Lancashire.
West Lancashire District Council's Arts Development Service is
currently finalising its first ever specialist phonebook listing
the names, addresses, contacts and details of all the art groups
who provide a service in the area.
Already lots of local organisations have come forward with their
details but there's still time for any last minute entries to
ensure that the directory lists as many as possible.
It is free to sign up to the new contact book and is a fantastic
opportunity for organisations to reach new members but the deadline
is 24th September.
The directory will be as easy as using the 'Yellow Pages' and will
cover performing arts, creative writing, visual arts, music,
dancing and other service providers in the creative world.
Councillor Rob Bailey, Portfolio Holder for Leisure, said: "This is
a brilliant opportunity for organisations to reach new members and
it will also let people in the district know about the variety of
amateur, voluntary and professional groups here in West Lancashire.
They will be featured free of charge in a quality directory but
without the headache of having to search through so many pages! But
hurry to be in with a chance to be featured in this new
publication."
Once finalised, the directory will be published in the Chapel Gallery section,
and in public buildings across the district.
