Christmas feast of fun in your local parksBeacon Country Park in the snow

Countdown to Christmas by joining in with the festive events at your local parks.

Why not add it to your Christmas list and enjoy this special time by visiting Beacon Country Park and Coronation Park in December.

Team up with West Lancashire District Council’s Rangers and take part in a series of free events. There are activities for all ages to take part in such as creating rural Christmas decorations, a carol concert to melt even Scrooge’s heart and a winter walk across your very own ‘wonderland’.

Cllr Geoff Hammond, Portfolio Holder for Community Services, said: "Christmas is a great time to visit Beacon Country Park and Coronation Park. With a wide range of activities and family focused events, there are many reasons to enjoy the outdoors and take in the stunning winter sights."

All events are free of charge and please wear suitable clothing and footwear. Children under eight must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.
