Ooh la-la the continental market is back!
You don’t have to leave the country to sample a taste of the
continent if you visit Ormskirk town centre on Friday 6 and Sunday
8 June.
On that weekend the Continental Market is back by popular demand
to tempt shoppers with plenty of mouth-watering treats.
There will be plenty on offer from Belgium chocolates and French
cheese and Turkish delight, Italian biscuits and fine wines.
As well as the many delicious food and drink items on offer,
there will also be a variety of unusual and crafted gifts such as
leather goods, clothes, jewellery and toys.
Cllr Martin Forshaw, Portfolio Holder with responsibility for
Ormskirk Market, said: "For the past couple of years the
continental market has proved to be a real hit with local shoppers
and visitors to Ormskirk town centre, so we’re delighted to welcome
it back here once more. I’m sure that there will be something on
offer to tickle the taste buds - so don’t miss it."
