Enjoy the great outdoors and support your local
parks
It’s that time of the year when nature transforms into a
sea of red and gold, and you can enjoy the changing seasons this
month through a series of outdoor activities in West Lancashire’s
local parks.
Team up with West Lancashire District Council’s rangers and see
how the parks are managed. In these fun and informative events you
can learn the traditional arts of habitat management, prepare the
wildlife for the New Year and enjoy the picturesque
environment.
Cllr Geoff Hammond, Portfolio Holder for Community Services,
said: "Autumn is always the most spectacular time of the year to
experience Coronation Park and Beacon Country Park because of the
unique sights and sounds. There are several events in November for
people of all ages to enjoy - and it’s a good excuse to be active
and experience the great outdoors."
All events are free of charge but please wear suitable clothing
and footwear.
