Family activities at Chapel Gallery
Storytelling, music, performance, painting and lots more are all
part of the gallery’s brand new family friendly activities
programme so get stuck in this autumn!
Every Saturday, the gallery provides a room dedicated to
creative pastimes for both parents and youngsters to enjoy. This
facility includes a drawing area, equipped with drawing materials
where visitors can create their own masterpieces!
Whilst there, visitors can meet the gallery’s friendly team or
join in the specially designed activities to accompany the present
exhibition on show.
There are also one or two special events planned for each month
for mums, dads and children to join in.
Cllr Geoff Hammond, Portfolio Holder for Community Services,
said: "Whether it’s creating colourful characters, getting ready
for the pantomime season or simply drawing to your heart’s content,
the Gallery’s family-friendly programme has something for everyone
- so make sure you fall into autumn with flair!"
