Outdoor Easter
bonanza for kids!
Children who love the great outdoors can enjoy working off those
chocolate eggs in the fresh air by joining one of our green
events!
West Lancashire District Council has organised a range of
activities during the school holidays for youngsters to get
involved in at our two award-winning sites at Beacon Country Park
and Coronation Park.
There’s everything from joining in the ‘egg-citing’ treasure
hunt, Easter-themed activities, learning how to help save the
planet, recycling art, going green and even becoming more noise
aware.
Cllr Andrew Fowler, Portfolio Holder for Community Services and
Health, said:
"What better way to beat the holiday boredom and enjoy our
beautiful landscape at the same time by joining in these fun, free
events. Children will really love being able to try out the Easter
activities and learn about our environment at the same time."
Activities are free to join but it’s a good idea to book in
advance. Children must be accompanied by adults. For more
information or to book events at Beacon Country Park, Beacon Lane,
