Cllr Martin Forshaw, Portfolio Holder for Planning and
Transport, said: "We hope local people nominate the developments
that have made a positive impact on public spaces and the
environment.
"The Council is committed to encouraging quality designs across
West Lancashire and continues to work in partnership with agencies
and developers, especially on regeneration projects that benefit
the community.
"Our thanks go to Places Matter! and the Homes and Communities
Agency for sponsoring this year's Design Awards. As result of their
support, we aim to produce a booklet about previous winners from
the last twenty years of the awards."
