West
Lancs in pictures
Have you got a great photograph of West
Lancashire that you’d like to show off to a wider audience? If so,
then submit it for publication on the West Lancs Council
website.
The Council has launched a new feature – “In
Pictures” – on the website at www.westlancs.gov.uk/inpictures and is inviting
people to send in their snaps to show West Lancs at its best.
The photo gallery is the latest in a series of
new features on the website. Other recent improvements have
included a new online facility to report council house repairs,
advice on the credit crunch, a new area offering ways to tackle
climate change and additions to our ‘Your views’ feature, which is
dedicated to keeping you informed and involved in council
consultation activities.
Cllr David Westley, portfolio holder for IT,
said: “The West Lancs council website is one of the best and we are
continually working to improve and adding new features. The ‘In
Pictures’ photo gallery is the latest improvement.
“West Lancashire is a beautiful borough, with
rolling countryside, pretty villages and towns that are full of
character. If you’ve got a picture that shows our borough at its
best, then please send it in.”
