Trees, Hedges and Woodland
The Council plays an important role in the conservation and
enhancement of West Lancashire's trees and woodlands in order to
maintain an attractive environment in which to live and work.

You can apply to do works on trees covered by a protection order or

We also run a Tree and Hedge Planting Grant Scheme to support
the planting of new trees and hedges in conservation areas.
A leaflet containing information about Planting Trees is also
available.
