Free insect identification service
If you have a problem with an insect and do not know what species
it is, we can identify it for you. The correct identification of an
insect is important to successful treatment.
If our trained Pest Control Officers cannot identify the insect, we
use an independent qualified entomologist to correctly identify the
insect.
Any specimens requiring identification should be submitted to the
following address, in a sealed container which is clearly labelled
with your name and address: West Lancashire Borough Council - Pest
Control Service, Robert Hodge Centre, Stanley Way, Skelmersdale,
West Lancashire WN8 8EE
