What the team does
The Homelessness Advice and Prevention Team gives advice to
people who are likely to become homeless to try to stop this
happening. As well as offering advice, the team runs various
schemes to help prevent homelessness. These are:
The team also deals with landlords and tenants in the private
sector by giving advice about the rights and responsibilities that
both landlords and tenants have and where necessary, prosecuting
landlords who break the law.
