Meals on wheels
We provide a Meals on Wheels service to West Lancashire
residents. All referrals are arranged through the local Social
Services office and applicants are generally over 50 years old.

We aim to:
- deliver meals to people against a set menu
- provide a meal at a reasonable cost
- provide specialist diet meals where necessary
With the help of the Women's Royal Volunteer Service (WRVS),
we provided 58,000 meals to people last year. The meals are
prepared and distributed mainly by:
- The Women's Royal Volunteer Service
- Wrightington Hospital
- Tarleton County High School
