Environmental works
Caretaking and gardening is provided by the
Environmental Works team.
The caretaking team are
responsible for cleaning the communal areas of council flats and
undertake tasks such as minor repairs and graffiti removal from
council properties.
The Gardening team
undertake a limited gardening service for disabled and elderly
council tenants who do not have any immediate family to assist
them. They also carry out garden clearances for vacant properties
when requested, and any other environmental work required by the
housing teams. They also provide cover for the caretaking team when
required.
