Chequer Lane Fishing Lake opened in 2005, and the new
feature is a major catch for residents across the district who will
have somewhere new to fish.
The fishing lake is open to both young and old alike who want to
experience fishing in a friendly and peaceful environment. There's
also a picnic area and seating so that fishers and families can
make the most of the facilities and enjoy a day out.
Fishing prices
- Adult day pass: £2
- Child day pass: £1
- Adult 12 month pass: £20
- Child 12 month pass: £10 (under 16)
Fishing is only permitted during daylight hours and children
under 12 can fish for free if they are with an adult with a
permit.
