Free countryside events text messaging
service
We run all sorts of popular countryside events like winter
walks, countryside craft days, junior rangers club - and the annual
green fayre, kite festival and walking festival. They're free and
fun for all the family.
If you're interested in coming along to these events and want a
reminder to let you know when they're happening - just sign up to
our free text service.
This service sends a text to your mobile a few days before
each event, so you can make sure you don't miss anything!
It's free to sign up for the service, and it doesn't cost you
anything to receive texts either. You won't be charged for
anything.
How to sign up
All you need to do to sign up is fill in the
Countryside Event Text Service online form - with
your name and mobile number.
You'll get a confirmation text so you know you've signed up. Then
we'll text you a few days in advance when there's a countryside
event on.
Please note: by signing up to this service, you agree that West
Lancashire District Council can use your name and phone number to
send you text messages about countryside events. The information
you give us will not be used for any other purpose and will not be
passed on to third parties.
How to unsubscribe
If you decide you don't want to receive any more messages, just
fill in the
Countryside Event Text Service online form and check the
"unsubscribe" box.
