Woodlands are a very important habitat for a wide range of british wildlife. Youngsters will be taught a variety of traditional woodland skills and management techniques. This event is aimed at 5-12 year olds. Places are limited and booking is required. Under 8's will require adult supervision.

Tawd Valley Park is a hidden jewel right in the heart of Skelmersdale. It is our largest countryside site and provides a valuable home to a wide variety of wildlife in an otherwise urban area. Help us spruce up the park for the variety of wildlife that lives there. This event is part of our Volunteer Ranger Programme. Our Volunteer Ranger events are open to all members of the public who are aged 16 or over. For more details and to book on please contact the rangers.
