Market Traders' Information
The Council supplies, erects and dismantles all stalls - each stall covers a total area of 10' x 8' with a counter top 10' x 4'. Traders need to supply their own covers.

The current charge is £23.10 per stall per day and for those traders on the food market requiring electricity this is available at £2.15 per stall per day. Market areas are cleaned at the end of each trading day.

All stalls are allocated on a permanent basis - none are kept specifically for casual traders.

There are no current vacancies on the market. However should you wish to add your name to the waiting list please contact one of the listed members of the market staff, or click on the right for the application form , print the form and return it completed to the address on page 2 of the form. Details of your insurance must be given and your application must include a recent photograph of yourself and any assistants who may be working on the stall.

Your application will not be acknowledged but if you wish to confirm that it has been received please telephone the market office on 01695 570125 at any time between 6.30am and 5pm on market days.

To avoid wasting their own time and that of the market staff, traders should not attend unless requested to do so.

The only applications not being accepted for the market at the moment are from traders selling ladies fashionwear
