Friends of Coronation Park

Friends of Coronation Park

Want to get more involved with Coronation Park - then why not join its group of friends?

Friends of Coronation Park is coordinated by the Park Ranger and is open to all park users and residents of the local community. It gives park users a chance to become actively involved in the park's management and help us to improve the range and quality of services on offer.

The group meets once a month and discusses issues facing Coronation Park and different ways of combating these problems. Members of the group also play an active role in looking after the park. They help with the events programme,  take part in environmental action days and practical tasks but, most importantly, they provide extra eyes and ears around the park and help the Park Ranger with informal patrols and survey work.

If you would like more information about joining the group or details about the next meeting, please contact the Park Ranger.
