Volunteering

Without volunteers most sport clubs and events in West Lancashire would not run!

Our Sports Development team work in partnership with Lancashire Sport and West Lancashire Council Voluntary Services to provide quality volunteering opportunities to people who want to get involved.

Whatever your age or experience, as a volunteer you can get involved with a huge variety of roles such as coaching/leadership, officiating, administration, organising events, publicity, and much more.

As well as benefiting the organisations and communities you volunteer for, you'll also reap lots of personal benefits - and for those volunteers showing real commitment we will provide access to development courses.

How to get involved

If you would like to become a volunteer or if you are keen to get volunteers to assist with your club, please contact our Club Development Officer. Volunteers will be registered with either the - ‘V’ programme, Step into Sport programme or the CVS volunteer scheme.
