The
digital switchover
The digital television switchover means that
households receive a digital TV signal instead of the
traditional analogue signal. To keep your TV service, you need
to convert your TVs to digital.
For West Lancashire residents the digital
switch is now complete. It began on 4 November 2009, when BBC2
analogue was switched off. The remaining analogue channels were
switched off on 2 December 2009.
Council tenants
Council tenants in Skelmersdale currently
receive their TV signal through an underground communal aerial
system. We are in the process of replacing this system so that each
property has its own new aerial. If you didn't receive your new
aerial before the digital switch over you will still be able to
receive digital TV through the old system
All the information you need to guide you
through the digital switchover is available at the official
Digital UK website (external

service providers.
You can also contact Digital UK on their
helpline number 08456 50 50 50 or by textphone on 0845 234
