Health promotion
The Health Promotion service aims to improve the health and well-being of local people through activities like health education and promotion, working alone or in partnership with other health-related organisations.

The service delivers health promotion initiatives on a wide range of topics including accident prevention, healthy lifestyle, coronary heart disease and strokes, cancers, mental health, oral health, HIV and AIDS.

The officers facilitate local environment and health-related networks in partnership with a wide range of organisations and individuals in the community and in the voluntary and statutory sector.
