Before carrying out any building work, health and safety
responsibilities must be considered.
You may need to notify the Health and Safety Executive
(HSE). You may also have other duties under the Construction
(Design and Management) Regulations 2007 (CDM 2007).
A domestic client does not have duties under CDM 2007 - but
those who work for them on construction projects will. Find out
