The Council has an obligation to
periodically review designated conservation areas and draft
proposals for their preservation and enhancement.
We recently carried out an appraisal
of Ormskirk town centre conservation area, with help from
volunteers and other interested parties. A good response was also
received from the public exhibition held at the Chapel
Gallery in December.
The appraisal was approved by the Council at its Cabinet meeting
on 24 March 2009.
