Nappy recycling
Lancashire County Council runs a nappy recycling scheme to give you
information and advice if you want to use reusable or washable
nappies.
It's not about boiling terries anymore, modern real nappies are
simple to use and easy to wash and for these reasons a growing
number of parents are now choosing to use real nappies.
Home laundered nappies can save considerably on the cost of keeping
a baby in nappies compared to buying disposables every week. You
could save £500 on the cost of nappies for one baby, and more if
they use them again on another baby.
And because real nappies can be reused time and time again they
don't contribute to household waste. So why not make a difference
to your environment and switch to real nappies?
