Council tax
We collect council tax from residents to help pay for the
local services like policing, refuse collection, roads, schools,
and in some areas the parish council. Council tax applies to all
domestic properties, whether owned or rented.
Money is collected on behalf of us as the district council,
the county council, the Lancashire Police Authority, Lancashire
Combined Fire Authority.
